Your first individual therapy session is an opportunity for you to ask questions about the therapy process and about my approach. It is also an opportunity for me to learn more about you, including what brings you to therapy and your potential goals. I will likely ask you many questions that helps to create some context around how therapy can be beneficial- you are free to answer them (or not!). Meeting a new therapist can be daunting, but I hope to make your experience as comfortable as possible!

It is not required that you book a consultation before your initial session, however, consultations can help you decide if I'm a good fit for you and your needs! Currently, individual therapy is offered online and in-person at 1600 Steeles Ave West. Upon booking, you will receive information and a link for sessions provided through the Jane App, a secure online system used by many healthcare practitioners.

If you are looking to have me speak at a group event for your business, school, or organization, this can be done virtually or in-person at your location.

There are a few ways you can book a session. You can click "book online" at the top of the homepage, which will take you directly to my booking calendar. If you are interested in group therapy or booking a speaking engagement, please email me.

While OHIP does not cover sessions with Registered Psychotherapists, many private insurance providers do. Please check with your provider to find out more about coverage. Receipts will be provided upon payment for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes and cost 135.00. You can pay by credit card or e-transfer following your session and a receipt will be provided. For group therapy or in-person seminars, please reach out directly at nicolearmstrongtherapy@gmail.com for fee details.
